“Hi, I’m Gemma. I have recently just moved to Qatar from my native Northern Ireland.

My husband got a job here so my son and my I followed. I’ve had my fair share of Middle Eastern life over the past years having lived in Dubai, Bahrain and Saudi but I can honestly say that Qatar is my favourite one yet.

I love how family-friendly it is and how everyone here is very welcoming and there’s always events on and things to do to keep myself and my family entertained.

The fact the sun shines 365 days a year makes life a lot easier too when coming from a rainy country.

I am an aerial art and acrobatic fanatic having grown up as a competitive elite gymnast and I’m really enjoying the fitness culture and studio/gym options here in Doha.
