Compass International School Doha (Compass) students will take part in a swimming challenge to swim across Qatar from November 3 to 7.

Believed to be the first swimming challenge of-its-kind in Qatar, students at the school’s Gharaffa campus will swim 90,000 metres or 6,429 lengths of the school pool to raise awareness of the Unesco Global Goals, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

Compass International School Doha has a unique collaboration with Unesco and through this collaboration, students are encouraged to research, develop and debate solutions to challenges facing society.  Compass has a strong sense of community and this ambitious challenge will see the Gharaffa Campus community, from students in Early Years 2 to Year 6, to staff and parents, work together to reach this target.
