In early September, Rihanna teased her new make-up line that promised to be as diverse as possible. Rihanna has been working on this collection since 2015, and now it’s finally launched as a Sephora exclusive!

The collection has been making a buzz all month and fans have been really excited, mainly because this is one of the few makeup lines to have 40 shades of foundation on its first launch! For me, I would love to try the foundation and highlighters because I am always on the hunt for the perfect foundation for my skin type and to glow like the goddess I am.

At the Sephora launch, Rihanna said in an interview;

“It was very important for me, in every product. Like there needs to be something for a dark-skinned girl, there needs to be something for a really pale girl, there needs to be someone in between. There’s so many different shades; there’s red undertones, there’s green undertones, there blue undertones, there’s pink undertones, there’s yellow! And you just never know so you want people to appreciate the product and not feel like “Oh that’s cute but it only looks good on her.”

Fans are overwhelmed at the range of shades; it has something from very pale, to very dark in numerous undertones. The inclusive range has garnered praise from numerous sites and reviewers.

They are cream highlighters with extreme pigment, which come in duo and solo pans that have a vast range of shades that are catered to every skin shade.

Rihanna said that these are “Weightless, longwear cream-powder hybrid highlighters that range from subtle dayglow to insanely supercharged in solos and expertly paired duos.”
The most sought-after one is an electric-yellow solo panned highlighter named Trophy Wife. It’s said to have extra microglitter infused in it and it swatches beautifully. It’s also Rihanna’s favorite.
