What would you say if we told you there’s a pancake recipe that is healthy, takes minutes to make, tastes delicious, and only requires 2 ingredients? Don’t stop reading just yet! It exists! 2-ingredient pancakes have been a cult favourite amongst fitness buffs. This easy-to-make pancakes recipe is a great healthy alternative to the buttery, fluffy breakfast food.
We’ve got the simple recipe right here for you to follow. We’ve even popped in a few of our secret ingredients to really add some oomph!
Pancakes Ingredients
Servings: 6-8pancakes
- 2 Medium Ripe Bananas
- 2 Medium Eggs
- Butter/Oil for cooking
Our additions:
- Pinch of Cinnamon
- 1/4 TSP of Vanilla
- 1/4 TSP Baking Powder
Method
- Peel your bananas and chop them up. Gently mash the bananas in a bowl until they are smaller chunks (not completely creamy).
- Add the eggs to the bowl and stir with a fork until you have a custard-like consistency. The general consistency should be runny with a few clumps of bananas.
- This is when you can add our special additions to the recipe. The baking powder is great if you want a fluffier pancake result.
- Heat your pan and melt your butter. Only add your mixture when the pan is completely hot. Pour about a tablespoon or two of the mixture (depending on the size you want).
- Cook for 1 minute before flipping carefully. Cook for another minute on the other side and you are done!
