Qatar is blooming with lights and cheers everywhere this December. People are out of their house and rushing to places. No body wants to miss the National Day celebration.

While many organizations joined together to hold activities at Darb Al Saai, Qatar Foundation became a major influencer for the youth.

Qatar Foundation took over the minds of youngsters by offering fun activities that kept the young minds engaged with educational tips and latest gizmos.

Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) holds DNA extraction workshops for teens and adults as well to educate them about basic elements of human body.

One of the most important workshops is the Qatar Career Development Centre. It provides information about jobs and other career possibilities to the youngsters. This gives the children an insight about the curious world they are a part of. The center also explores on the soft skills of visitors and guides them towards their interests.

In addition to the workshops, ‘QF Globe’ was a popular hub for the visitors. It shows the history of QF, its success stories and how it crossed several milestones in Science and Research. It shares its plans and ambitions for the future and how it’s going to help brighten the Nation.

We are proud to be part of this great nation, and we believe this celebration demonstrates our commitment to supporting Qatar on its journey to becoming a diversified and sustainable economy.” – Khalifa al-Kubaisi, Head of the Press Office at QF.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press was another spot for the guests where they can make their own books. This was a fun activity for all age groups.

Visitors gathered themselves to put pieces together of a jigsaw puzzle in the shape of Qatar, which was provided by Georgetown University. They also enlightened themselves with educational world map activities.

Kids got themselves busy by constructing Lego houses with paper, which was provided by Msheireb Properties at Qatar Foundation’s tent.

They also enjoyed putting together simple electric circuits taken care of by Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ).

Tent is open to the public from 8 AM-12 PM noon and from 4 PM-10 PM, Saturday to Thursday. Fridays the tent will function from 2 PM.

Qatar Foundation said in a statement that the evening of 13th December will be strictly for ladies.
