I purchased this product exactly on the same month a year ago, from an online shopping platform called Galleon PH. If you remember, I already made a review on Galleon PH before. And I’ve mentioned buying a sensitive product, right? This is that product.

At that moment, I was thinking of giving more care and attention to my skin. You see, I’m still young, but I’m not getting any younger. I thought it’s better to save my skin early, than to regret not doing so later on. And the first step I decided to take is to get rid of my acne.

So, I looked for product recommendations and reviews; and discovered that Olay Fresh Effects 1-2-3 Acne Solution System may just be the best solution to my problem.

It is a set that comes with three products; The Acne Hater Deep Scrub, Spot Zinger and Swirled Mattifier.

Step 1: Acne Hater Scrub

A facial scrub that is said to be formulated with 2% Salicylic Acid, which we all know is a must ingredient for fighting acne. It has tiny beads that penetrate pores and that are expected to eliminate most blemishes and blackheads. Thus, it does not only cleanse your skin, but also exfoliate it.

Compared to normal soap, I can say I feel more cleansed when using this and also more refreshed, mainly because of its citrus scent. Seriously, you got to love that citrus scent!

 

Step 2: Spot Zinger

My personal favorite is this cream inside a small tube. This is also said to be formulated with 2% Salicylic Acid. You only have to put this cream on the spots where your acne lies. That’s why even though it is inside a small tube, it can really last for a long time.

This one really works! I think it’s the most effective of the three. Only a few days after application, the reduction of acne is noticeable on my face.

 

Step 3: Swirled Mattifier

A moisturizer that can also be used as a primer. It is expected to mattify skin to instantly reduce the look of shine and redness.

Everyone praises this product, but I have to be honest, it doesn’t do anything good for me. It feels really sticky on my face. It’s thick, causing my skin to have a hard time absorbing it. I only used it a few times, just to see if there will be any difference. But it failed me every time. But of course, every skin is different. It may not work for me, but it may work for you.

Overall, the set is okay. It helped me get rid of my acne! After using them, I never had breakouts anymore.
