Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) readies to put its curtains up on the fourth edition of the Aspire Embassies Futsal Tournament that is jointly organised with Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The tournament is scheduled to be held from March 17 to April 15 every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of every week at The Dome.
The 4th edition of the tournament will feature 16 diplomatic teams of embassies in the State of Qatar, representing countries like: Kenya, Mali, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Azerbaijan, India, Indonesia, France, Italy, Sweden, Jordan, Lebanon, Kurdistan, USA and a team representing Qatar that will include members from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahad Al Thani (pictured), Manager of the competition at Aspire Zone, said: “after the success of the previous versions, we are happy to organize the fourth year in a row, with participation of 16 embassies and diplomatic and Qatar Foreign Ministry team which confirms on the success of the competition and its apriority to enhance communication between them away from the officials atmosphere.”
The tournament is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday (March 17), each team will consist of 13 players, comprising of diplomats and representatives from each embassy.
