Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel commemorated Qatar National Day with a unique range of activities that highlights its commitment to the nation and the people in Qatar.
The 5-day celebration payed a final tribute to the spirit of togetherness on the most festive day in Qatar (December 18th), where guests witnessed the grand finale of the air acrobatic show “Meraviglia” in the majestic setting of the hotel’s lobby!
Sheraton Grand Doha continued the festivities with a cake cutting ceremony whilst guests were treated to cultural entertainment and local cuisine embracing the tradition and culture of Qatar around the hotel.
The community of Qatar celebrated the occasion of Qatar National Day, as 18th of December highlights the historic day in 1878, when Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani, founder of the State of Qatar, set up the pillars of the modern State of Qatar. Sheraton Grand Doha hopes for more returns of this memorable occasion and wishes that Qatar always enjoys security, welfare and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
