Doha: The Public Parks Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in collaboration with the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ launched a large park (linear park) in Al Hilal area near Qatar Charity and The Mall.
The length of the park is 1.5km, its width is 50 meters and space of the park is 75,000 sq metres. The aim of building such parks is to benefit and utilise such side spaces of streets and highways and turning them into green spaces that give citizens and residents the opportunity to exercise sports.
