Qatar opens it’s first and biggest pet-friendly park in the celebration of National Sport Day 2018

This is an exciting news for people with pets as a portion of the park is now accessible to public.

There’s no better place to bring your furry best friend than to this exciting place. Al Bidda Park was known for family activities and fun place for children featuring roller skating.  It now loves and caters to your four-legged friends as well.

The Red Road was also open to public on the National Sports Day. The Red Road is paved with red asphalt and runs alongside the boundaries of Al Bidda Park and extends to the Emiri Diwan roundabout. It’s the perfect pathway for cyclists and joggers.

Visiting the park with your pooch has never been easier or more fun!

Though it is advised to bring pooper-scoopers with bags as the park doesn’t provide with these facilities. The park has put up ‘Rules of the Park’ signboards for the convenience of the public.

Also, one might need to bring their own water source as the park is still yet to open completely. The park has sports facilities such as fitness center indoor and outdoor as well. It also covers basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts for fun play.

Throughout the park you will find welcoming signs for public. The park is designed to entertain barbecue with family and friends. Before the park shut down, it was the hot spot for public at weekends and weekdays as well.

Cyclists have access to the park as well. So one can go for a morning ride without any hassle. Keep a look out for public instructions.

The park is surrounded by greenery and gives a serene experience. It also features an open theatre which might hold functions or programs in the future.
