Hundreds of Qatar residents gathered at MIA Park to celebrate the many cultures that make up Qatar.

The festival opening was attended by Mansoor bin Ebrahim Al Mahmoud, CEO and Special Advisor to H.E. the Chairperson at Qatar Museums, MIA Director Dr Julia Gonella, as well as the Ambassadors or the Republic of China, Bangladesh, Morocco, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Syria and Sudan.

Participants from many countries shared their culture with event attendees by showcasing traditional clothing, music, games, books and much more. There was also a selection of delicious food and beverages representing each country.

Countries represented include Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Tunisia, Palestine, Morocco, Bangladesh, Philippines, India, China, Tanzania, USA, Canada, Turkey, Afghanistan and Sudan.

The event is part of QM’s commitment to promote understanding, recognition and appreciation of different cultures, traditions and people of Qatar.
