Creativity is everywhere. However, do you feel like you see it all around you but it’s somehow not within your access? There’s always that moment when you feel like something’s missing.
Here’s a few steps on how to get back that creative spark in your life again.
● Take notes
Whenever you have an idea take note of it. When you have a block, your notes might be just the place which reminds you that you are a genius.
● Read A Lot
There’s nothing like reading inspirational books to get your creative mind back in motion. Austin Kleon’s a great writer to read for when you need to get yourself back on track. Steal like and Artist, and Show your work are great reads, and always gets your creative juices up and going. Don’t only read books. Read blogs as well
● Study History
You can always find inspiration from history. Whether it is a political strategy, art or architecture, there’s something new to learn from all of the history left behind.
● Never stop learning
There’s always something new to learn whether it be from the internet, a person next to you, a seminar, or a university, grab every chance you get to gain extra knowledge
● Learn to say No
At no given time, take more than you can handle. Learn to say no so you can deliver the best of what you take on.
● Drink a cup of Herbal Tea
A cup of herbal tea by yourself when you are swamped with work – no distraction might just be what you need to de-stress and let all your mind free and ready to restart all over again. Rooibos Tea / Chamomile Tea / Jasmine Tea are a great way to de-stress
yourself in minutes.
● Give yourself Off time
Not every day needs to be lived with your thinking hand. It’s okay to stay in your pjs binging on your favorite show over popcorn.
And there’s nothing like ending this with one of our favorite quotes of all times “Why do you want to fit into a glass slipper when you can shatter the glass ceiling?” –
Priyanka Chopra.
