With so many makeup brands on the market, it can get virtually impossible to figure out the ones that are absolute must-try’s. It’s almost as if there’s a new brand coming out every week lately.

With each different brand excelling in different products, it’s hard to find ones that you can rely on for your entire makeup routine. However, some of the holy grail brands that have been in the game for ages have managed to hold their own with every new trend that comes about. We’ve put together a short list of a few makeup brands that have wowed us in almost everything they’ve dabbled in. These brands are guaranteed to impress, and they’ve done so for years now!

Too Faced

From giving us XXL lips to chocolate-scented makeup, Too Faced is a brand that’s always wowed us. They’ve been delivering innovative and effective makeup for as long as we can remember, and they’ve delivered it in the cutest of packaging. The best part of it all is that they’ve managed to do this all while still being a cruelty-free brand! They’re just such a playful and gorgeous brand that has been loved and trusted for ages now.

Maybelline

This brand has definitely been around for decades now. Maybelline will always be the most classic affordable makeup brand. While affordable makeup hasn’t always been too prevalent- more recently they’ve really held their own.

What’s so amazing about Maybelline is that more recently, it’s often brought out products that are comparable to higher end makeup. From their classic Stay Matte powder to their more recent Fit Me foundations with a wow factor; maybe it is Maybelline!

NARS

If you’re into more of a sleek, classic kind of makeup brand then NARS is the one for you. Their classy packaging and high price points really say it all. But aside from how beautiful their products look, they actually work! NARS’ Sheer Glow foundation has been a classic for years and years now, and their more recent foundation releases have only further impressed.

MAC

Of course, we couldn’t quite write this without a glowing mention of the OG of all makeup brands! MAC will forever be a classic that we all turn to on a regular basis. From their wide ranges of colours to even wider ranges of base shades; they just have it all.
