Jon Snow and Ygritte have set their wedding date for June 23

The BBC reports that Leslie’s father, Seb Leslie, owns a castle in his West Garioch constituency. Because, if you recall, Rose Leslie is from Scottish nobility. So not only a beautiful summer wedding, but a beautiful summer wedding in an actual castle. Does this count as a second royal wedding? I think… Yes!

Harrington and Leslie made their engagement announcement in the London Times last fall, which is apparently a very normal thing for UK natives to do. The couple dated back in 2012, but broke up a year later. They reportedly rekindled their relationship in 2016, after Leslie was no longer on the show. Harrington later spoke to L’Uomo Vogue about falling in love with Leslie on set.

“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he said. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”

Leslie has also commented on how easy it was to fall in love with Harrington, telling People magazine that “Kit is a lovely and funny man, and a dear friend.”

“It was always such a privilege to be working opposite him and such a blessing that we get on in real life because it made our characters more believable,” Leslie said.

So buckle up, guys. ANOTHER (basically royal) wedding is coming in less than a month. Though I don’t think this one will be televised.
