Ever walked into a restaurant and instantly felt the warmth and joy of being there? Walk into Sugar and Spice in Al Waab and slip into a fancy and yummy world.

Located just outside the Aspire Park in between Villagio and the Hyatt Plaza, this café welcomes people with a big hello and instant service. There is plenty of parking space available just outside the café making it easy for customers to arrive in style. You could also see a lot of modified luxury cars parked here as well.

The exterior of the café is designed to look like an old decorated country home almost relatable to a farm house located on vast green landscapes that take one’s breath away. The interiors look like the insides of a castle from the fairy tales with hues of pastel colors to keep it light and pleasant on the eyes.

The staff is probably one of the best reasons to visit here. Not just the waiter assigned to your zone, but each and everyone in the café welcomes you with a big smile, heart and hello!

The menu is designed to be filled with yummy desserts and coffees that are surprisingly refreshing. Try the Butterscotch Vanilla Latte or the Caramel Popcorn Milkshake for an afternoon delight. For a sweet delight, the Goodie Jar – a warm delicious blend of warm cake pieces, biscuits, hot fudge with vanilla ice cream on top which have the options of red velvet, vanilla or chocolate cake and the Lotus Flower dessert – Lotus biscuit crust filled with Choco chips and milk chocolate ganache with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with waferflakes and caramel sauce) are absolutely delicious.

Wednesdays at the Sugar and Spice Café are known as family days where the atmosphere is filled with togetherness and a brighter bounce.

The journey of this café basically started with a hunt for a good piece of carrot cake. The owner learnt the recipe and baked it himself after extensive research. His passion for baking took him to the height of opening up his own shop.

With blues and jazz playing in the background while sipping on a good coffee and munching on a yummy dessert, conversations could play out for hours together making you love this cozy hangout. All this comes at an affordable rate and can be enjoyed across all age groups.

The surprise cake for the month is the Rainbow cake with cream cheese frosting filled with M&M’s.
