La Mar Doha by celebrity chef Gastón Acurio turns one on November 1, 2019. Being the first La Mar in the Middle East, La Mar Doha has organised exciting happenings in the much-loved Peruvian restaurant, located on the Pearl of the Arabian Sea. Witness the crowd-favourite Peruvian restaurant in Doha transform like never before, along with a hand-picked, traditional four-course menu.

Gastón Acurio is a Peruvian chef and ambassador of Peruvian cuisine. He owns more than 40 restaurants around the world, all with one mission: to bring Peruvian cuisine to the world. He is also a renowned host, author of several books, and a contributor to magazines. The birth of his famous cebicheria, La Mar, began with a customised supply chain of smaller-scale “artisanal” fishermen. To contribute to sustainable fishing, La Mar chefs are famous in planning menus and specials around the seasonal availability of raw ingredients.

November 1, 2019 marks the first anniversary of the first La Mar in the Middle East. See La Mar Doha transform like never before; adorned with traditional decorations, funky photo booths, live Peruvian dancers and our special guest performers all the way from Peru, “Los Chicos”. Guests will also be given a sweet Peruvian treat for every booking.
