Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is just a little over 4 hours and we have Qatar Airways flying direct to Colombo. There’s so much you can do from exploring all of its beautiful beaches to delving yourself into the world of teas. Everything about the country seems to be calling your name. Sri Lanka makes for a great family destination. With more elephants than cats, there’s not enough time to explore this tropical island

Malaysia
A country that has used petroleum to bring about the right mix of development and culture all in one. A little further away from Doha but if you are looking into a longer vacation, Malaysia should be top of your bucket list. Kuala Lumpur is a fascinating city of culture, history, and a lot of nature. From exotic islands to shopping on a budget, this little country has everything you need.

Oman
Don’t want to go anywhere too far, our friendly neighbour Oman has everything you need and more. With Salalah, being more of the tropical getaway, and Muscat – a cultural hub, the sultanate can take you by surprise. There’s also the might Jabal AlAkhdar with all kinds of fruit trees and plants growing all through the year. One might find it hard to believe that it is just a little over 2 hours to get there from Doha.

FYROM
It’s been a little over a year since Qatar Airways started flying direct to Skopje. With a mix of Turkish and Greek influence, this country is an interesting destination to those who are fond of history and architecture, there’s all kind of things from old bazaars to rest houses to ancient amphitheaters. Although not spoken about a lot, this country is truly a gem to go to with all of its beautiful lakes, and valleys. Do not miss the ever so famous Matka canyon if you visit the country.
