The purpose of “The Green Era Award for Sustainability” is to recognize organizations, governmental institutions, and companies who have shown outstanding environmental achievements and sustainable practices.
On this occasion, Abdulla Ibrahim Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Elite Paper Recycling Qatar Said: “It is an honour and a great achievement for us at “Elite Paper Recycling Qatar” to receive “The Green Era” award for Sustainability from Other Ways Management Consulting, which I dedicate to Qatar. We are proud of being pioneers in paper recycling in Qatar and producing high-quality recycled paper from waste paper and cardboard.
Our motto of Reduce, Re-use, Recycle reflects our primary goal to spread the culture of recycling for the preservation of the environment and a greener sustainable world for the next generation.
“Thankfully, our operations were launched only four years ago, and during that period we were able to put a global footprint in recognition of the world’s most important bodies specialized in the field of sustainability, which reflects the environmental level we have achieved in the State of Qatar. The award will also motivate us to continue our serious and diligent efforts and develop our products in line with international markets,” he added.
The monthly production of Elite Paper Recycling Company exceeded 4,000 tonnes of papers per month due to its standing agreements with more than 250 schools, ministries and other private and public bodies, with more than 1,500 collection dumpsters in Qatar and a fleet of more than 100 trucks throughout Qatar doing corporate and home collections.
The company exports its paper products to Kuwait, Oman, the People’s Republic of China, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at competitive prices.
