Qatar Museums (QM) has unveiled plans for a community ambassador programme designed to engage long-term residents of Qatar to become Honorary Cultural Ambassadors (HCA). In recognition of the vibrant and diverse community that makes up Qatar, QM is looking for individuals who have embraced all that Qatar has to offer and are looking to share their passion with others.
The programme will gather a group of individuals who have demonstrated keen interest in Qatar’s cultural offering. HCAs will have the honour of meeting with distinguished VIP guests and accompanying them on tours of cultural sites, as well as offering their own views and interpretations of Qatar to allow the guests to fully experience and enjoy Qatar’s cultural and historical highlights.
Somaya Al Tamimi, Director of Strategy and Quality Assurance at Qatar Museums said:
“Qatar is well known for its hospitality and we pride ourselves on being open and welcoming of all visitors. We have such a diverse community, speaking more than 80 languages and hailing from every part of the world.
