Dubai-based W Motors made history this weekend as the first Middle Eastern hypercar developer ever to participate at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (FOS), one of the world’s greatest celebrations of car culture.

Following its global unveiling at the Geneva International Motor Show earlier this year, W Motors’ newest car, the Fenyr SuperSport hit the road for the first time, participating in the legendary Goodwood Hill Climb. In front of an audience of more than 200,000 visitors over the festival’s four days, the Fenyr SuperSport made two hill-climb runs each day.

Amongst those to take the wheel and attack the iconic 1.16-mile track at ferocious speed were Mr JWW, W Motors’ friend of the brand, supercar vlogger and the only UK Michelin brand ambassador, Oliver Webb, renowned British professional race driver and Michelin official driver, and Faisal Binladen, Saudi Falcons’ race driver, amongst others.

Making its first appearance on British soil during the FOS, from 12th–15th July, the Fenyr SuperSport is the latest addition to the W Motors line-up of Hypercars. Limited to 100 units globally, with a maximum of only 25 produced per year, and built with a focus purely on performance, power and speed, the carbon fibre masterpiece perfectly balances advanced aerodynamic engineering with the aggressive aesthetics conceived by Dubai-based W Motors.

Talking about the Fenyr SuperSport, Ralph R. Debbas, Founder & CEO of W Motors stated: “We are thrilled to finally experience the Fenyr SuperSport taking on this legendary hill climb in front of hundreds of thousands of visitors and millions of viewers all over the world! Our team, fans and motorsport enthusiasts can finally relish this most awaited moment”.

During the FOS, W Motors also released the “Fenyr SuperSport Launch Editions” – limited to only 10 units and inspired by the spirit of the Wolf. Passionately created to showcase the Fenyr SuperSport in all its glory, each of the 10 breathtaking cars will have its own unique colour combinations, thus highlighting the endless possibilities of creating one’s dream hypercar.

Following its FOS debut, the Fenyr SuperSport will head across the Atlantic for a US tour, including the famous Monterey Car Week in Pebble Beach, California.

Also during Goodwood Festival of Speed, visitors flocked to the W Motors stand to admire the famous Lykan HyperSport – the hero car of The Fast & The Furious 7, one of Universal’s biggest blockbusters.
