  1. Ramadan Book Fair

Qatar is having their first ever Ramadan Book Fair organized by the Ministry of Culture and in coordination with Souq Waqif. The exhibition will show the published work of over 40 authors from all around the world: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, India, and Australia.   1. Pipilotti Rist’s ‘Your Brain to Me, My Brain to You’ Exhibiton

Renowned Swiss artist, Pipilotti Rist, has created yet another beautiful and mesmerizing large-scale installation for all to see. The installation consists of 120 LED lights hung on cables from the ceiling throughout the entire gallery. This is an exhibition you do not want to miss. Get lost in Pipilotti Rist’s world!


Warning: This exhibition contains flashing lights that may cause discomfort and/or trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy and other conditions with sensitivity to light.

Be a part of Ramadan and Local Culture at Qatar Foundation. Take this opportunity to participate in fun family shared activities and learn more about Ramadan and Qatar’s culture. Qatar Foundation has organized the following:

  • Workshops and displays for traditional activities such as pottery making, leather and wood painting, bisht making, sword making, Qarqoor, copper making, and sadu workshop
  • Traditional Qatari games and activities for children
  • EC Marketplace vendors showcasing and selling their handicrafts
  • STEM and craft activities for children
  • A sustainability sculpture, featuring the work of HBKU’s College of Public Policy and QF school students, that visualizes the approximate volume of plastic waste consumed by families in Qatar during Ramadan. Supported by Seashore
