As the pandemic evolves, Netflix is hoping its roster of upcoming films will encourage viewers to remain at home. The streaming service just announced its 2022 film lineup with titles featuring plenty of A-listers, including Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Lopez and Eddie Murphy. The list showcases the result of the annual $17 billion Netflix spends on original content, as well as its efforts to boost subscribers.
Altogether, the company is slated to release 68 new films on Netflix in 2022. With more than a new film every week, Netflix takes the game higher to a new industry standard which no studio has ever done.
