The Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) announced the re-launch of its e-commerce website, www.turkishsouq.com, giving the people of Qatar the privilege to browse through the distinguished Turkish Bazaar and Souqs through their digital screens. The website was unveiled during the Qatar Information Technology Conference & Exhibition – QITCOM 2019 – which is being held from 29th of October till November 1st, 2019 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

The virtual marketplace features over 300,000 products ranging from household items to popular Turkish Delights, nuts, bespoke jewelry and office supplies. With the demand for Turkish products continuing to increase in Qatar, turkishsouq.com aims to offer high quality products from Turkey that are available for order round the clock.

To celebrate the launch of the inventory-packed website, Qatar Post is offering customers free shipping on all orders above QR250.

Through the new e-commerce venture, Qatar Post, the owner of turkishsouq.com, offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and small enterprises in Qatar to showcase their products on the Turkish market, as well as through other channels provided by the Qatar Post e-store.

HE Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport and Communications, said:

In addition to a dedicated 24-hour customer service, the shopping process does not require the customer to open an account to be able to purchase from the Turkish Souq. Currently, purchase orders are only available to the residents of Qatar, and purchases are delivered exclusively to addresses in Qatar.
