L’OCCITANE, the leading natural beauty products company, announced recently a sustainability campaign via its branch in Doha Festival City.

The campaign will see L’OCCITANE partner with different local recycling firms in the region to provide a collection and recycling program for customers to be able to recycle their used packages at all L’OCCITANE boutiques.

L’Occitane’s core values include biodiversity, supporting local producers, fighting pollution, empowering women and promoting craftsmanship. This year L’Occitane focused on biodiversity and therefore decided to kickstart it’s in store recycling program in the Middle East.

Customers are encouraged to visit L’Occitane at Doha Festival City with their empty full-size packages to get a free one of two duos of 75ml bottles of shampoo and conditioner or shower gel and body lotion.

L’OCCITANE partnered with Averda, a company that provides waste management solutions in Qatar. The initiative is now available through L’OCCITANE boutique at Doha Festival City, with the aim to enroll other stores in the country by year-end.

Robert Hall, General Manager of Doha Festival City said: “As Qatar’s first and only sustainably-certified mall, we are keen on acknowledging retailers who opt for sustainability across their operations. We appreciate the effort L’Occitane has exerted into bringing this conscious campaign to Qatar and to start with their branch at Doha Festival City. We will continue to support any initiative that keeps the environment at its heart.”
