No matter how much you love your job, there’s bound to be nights and/or weekends that you were on deadline, you couldn’t turn your brain off, or you just wanted to go out and let loose with your friends. (FOMO is real, people.)

But just because you feel like a walking zombie, doesn’t mean you have to look like one. Try out these beauty tips to have everyone in your office fooled.

1. Buff Up Those Brows & Lashes

They might seem like minute details in the whole scheme of things, but brushing your eyebrows upward with a spoolie brush to create more youthful, bushy brows and curling your lashes can give the appearance of bigger, more open eyes.

More open = more wide awake and fewer questions from coworkers about why you were out so late.

2: Use Color Corrector

Starting at the tear duct and following the natural triangular shape of your under-eye bag, use an orange/yellow toned color corrector to cancel out blue and/or purple hues that tend to drag down your whole look.

3: Highlight, Highlight, Highlight

This one might seem like a no-brainer, but on a tired, Monday morning, highlighter absolutely is going to be your best friend. Apply some to the inner and outer corners of eyes, down the bridge of your nose, onto your brow bone, and on top of the cheekbones for a radiant, wide-awake look.

4: Waterline With Nude

Instead of reaching for a black or white eyeliner on your lower lashes, try waterlining them with a beige pencil. The black will make your eyes look even more closed off and tired, and the white liner can be a little too obvious. Skin-toned liner helps to open up the eyes, making you look more awake—even if you don’t feel it.

5. Combine Forces

Mix some illuminating cream with your foundation to add a touch of radiance to your entire complexion. Go for products with a golden, peachy glow rather than a silvery one for a fresh-off-the-beach vibe.

6. Use Caffeine- And Mint-Infused Products

Skincare products with caffeine, mint, and green tea can almost immediately act as a morning pick-me-up and instantly brighten dull, tired skin. Just like your morning cup of joe does to your mood, it can perk up your complexion in seconds.

7. Go For The Cutlery

Raid your cutlery drawer to help make your eyes look more awake. Place two spoons in the freezer while you brush your teeth and make a cup of coffee. Once the spoons are cooled, press them gently into your eye sockets (curved side in) and hold them steadily for a few seconds.

Follow this up with a brightening eye cream to rehydrate the area for instantly shrunk down under-eye bags.

8. Use Your Magic (Mascara) Wand

Instead of grabbing your go-to blackest black mascara on a particularly sleepy-looking morning, go for a formula with blue pigments in it to enhance the golden highlights in your eyes, especially if your eyes are brown. Blue-eyed ladies should opt for a shimmery gold, and green or hazel-eyed readers should try a mascara with plum pigments.

9. Add Some Color

Go for a light, rosy blush to perk up your complexion and add color to dull skin. A pink or coral tone applied a bit higher on the apples of your cheeks detracts from any dark shadows or circles.
